SOUS Sketch Reveal Day

Welcome Scrappy friends - it's Friday

Reveal Day over at

With a great sketch from
 one of our fantastic
 Co-Leaders - Leah Schaeffer

My interpretation....

Leah's Sketch...

I have used the great paper collection
from Carta Bella
 "Christmas Day"

The beautiful gold braid trim
 is by Bo Bunny

A wee bit gold tinsel trim from stash

The stunning golden vine is by
 Prima "Holiday Lights Glitter
Spray Maple Gold"
 to be precise!

The photo's are
 Gorgeous Darling
Granddaughters #1 & #3
Christmas Eve 2011

Some Bazzill cardstock
 and VersaColor "Pinecone" ink
The chippies are from
 the paper collection

That's me for this sketch,
 though it is lacking something
 me thinks, and after having
some discussions with my
SOUS team mate Annette,
while I was visiting with her
 in Australia (lol)
she gave me a few pointers
and me thinks this may get
a bit of an overhaiul in the near future.
I may even pop the new version
on the blog later - maybe....

In the meantime,
head over to the Blog at
to drool at my team mates
creations using this sketch
 - they are stunning.

While you are there,
the new members of the
design team have been announced.

They will be introduced individually
later, but for now you can take
a wee visit to their individual blogs
and see what treats they have
in store as part of the sketches team,
 card sketches team and
 the die-cut team too.

See you over there

Hugs

SOUS Card Sketch Reveal Day

Wow, it's the third Wednesday
 of November already....

Time for the latest
Card Sketch Reveal
from

I got back to Scotland from
 Australia yesterday morning,
and have no idea what
time zone I'm on...lol

I think I'm a wee bit later
 than everyone else
posting this, but,
better late than never.

Here is my interpretation of
 Leah's fantastic sketch...

Leah's Sketch...

The papers used are by
 Cosmo Cricket
 "Dear Mr. Claus"
 Collection

The wee snowmen images
 and the sentiment
 are from the papers

A wee bit of twine from
 Doodlebug Design Inc

Cha-Ching!!!

A clean and simple card, just my style.

Now, head over to
to be inspired by my fellow
DT mates and have a go at
this great sketch yourself.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Meanwhile, I'm off to try and
 figure out the time.
To add to the confusion,
the clocks in UK went
back an hour while I was away.
 The clocks don't change in
 either Perth or Brisbane, Australia!!

Helpful son, changed all
the clocks in the house (Scotland)
while I was away, and they
 all have a different time
on them - one clock is
on the hour, while one's at five to
and another is at five past....

I'll be right in a couple of days

Feeding Baby - Sous Sketch Reveal

Greetings from Fiji...
I have to assume I am having
a great time, lazing on the beach,
as I scheduled this post to publish
before I left Brisbane
on Wednesday...lol
This is my interpretation of
our newest sketch over at

The great sketch by our own
co-leader Leah,
 which I have rotated

The papers are
"Spring Jubilee" Collection
by Pink Paislee

The doily and trims are from my stash

Flowers by Prima

Lots of fussy cutting from the papers,
loving this bird on the branch

Photo's are eldest Granddaughter,
Rebekah, when she was little

The beautiful dies are from
Marianne Designs Creatables Dies

The frame was cut on Cricut
 using the papers from the
 "Art Philosophy" cartridge at 6.75inches

Love how this came together,
and that the photo's are finally
scrapped, they have been waiting
patiently for quite some
time to be done...lol
Hope you can join us with
 this sketch over at
though it may take a wee while
before I can get around to
your blogs - having way too
 much fun on holiday
to even look at a computer....
Love & Hugs
