Hello from Hollywood - CHA

Yep, Mandy and I are alive - and having a ball.

CHA is amazing - I have met soooooo many beautiful people I have admired for years, especially my fellow DT members
Diane of Capadia Designs and Enfys of Going Buggy......

We are all soooooo tired, and there are still 2 days to go......

I will upload photo's when I get back to Australia - but in the meantime Diane and Enfys are updating daily - so you can hop over to their blogs to get updates and some photo's of the first three days......

First Layout 2011

Hello everyone, boy did I have fun with the gold embossing powder on this layout, my first for 2011.....

My three gorgeous granddaughters on 31st October last year, while we were home in Scotland....

Papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle - Decorative Edge Cardstock and

Jillibean Soup - Monster Stew Collection "Bunch of Monsters".....

The chipboard embellishments are - Candleabra by Dusty Attic which I have used Radiant Rain Luminartes 'bronze' on the base and then Inkssentials Crackle Accents, with amazing results, gold embossing powder on the candles and Ranger Distress Stickles 'Spiced Marmalade' as the flames.....

Ornate Hanging Clock by Twiddleybitz, which I flipped to the reverse (the clock numbers and hands are embossed on the other side). I used Radiant Rain Luminarte 'bronze' and then a Pink Paislee stamp using black embossing powder.....

Flowers are by Lulu.....

The largest flower centre by Prima - Monarch Maple.....

The small rhinestones are by Kaiser.....

The gold embossed witch and journaling block are stamps by Making Memories.....

The title "All Hallow's Eve" is a stamp by Pink Paislee, also gold embossed....

I had great fun with this layout, reminds me how gorgeous embossing is.....

While I'm here, I just had to show you this beautiful prize I won recently over at the Zva Creative Blog Hop......

The Blog Hop was in November, but I only received the pack a few days ago - Christmas mail!!!!

Thanks ZVA - love them......

DAD....

Hi everybody, thanks for dropping in again.....

This is a new layout based on an old sketch.....

I was recently guest designer over at SOUS, and much as I loved the layout I made for that challenge, I wasn't really over the moon about it - I'm still convinced it looks like a tea tray - check HERE and give me your opinion......LOL

So, I have done the same sketch again, but different.....

My Dad......

The photo's were taken in 2007 when Dad was last here in Australia on holiday.....

I have used the Lime Tart A La Tarte Kit from April 2010......

The papers are by Scribble Scrabble - Sweet Shoppe Collection.....

Here is the sketch.....

I am back in my scrap room, working on a beautiful photograph of my three granddaughters from Hallowe'en 2010 in Scotland, will hopefully get that finished tonight.....

And then I can get started on the new sketch over at SOUS......

Tomorrow morning I'm off out on a camera course to learn about my new Canon 500D SLR, around the beautiful city of Fremantle, so an early start in the morning - at least it isn't cold here - temp tomorrow is to be 37 degrees - yippee - LOVE Australia.....

Hope it isn't tooooooo cold where you are.....

2010 Top Ten

Welcome into 2011 everyone - here's to another great year of scrapping fun.....

Before I start on a new year of projects I would like to showcase a few of my favourites from last year....

My Top Ten of 2010.....

This was the very first layout I made in 2010......

The next nine are in no particular order.....

Now, if you can count - that was ten....

But I wanted to give this one an honourable mention - particularly because I love the photo....

Now, to get back into my Scraproom.....

And, only 20 days until I go to Los Angeles for Winter CHA with Mandy from Scrappy Go Lucky.....

How lucky am I......
