Final Layout for 2010

Well, this is my final layout for 2010.....

My goal was 100 layouts (my counter seems to have disappeared), and this is layout number 105 for the year.....

It is my interpretation of the current sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches....

The sketch, by Suepup.....

I have used the gorgeous Amber Road Collection papers from Pink Paislee.....

Dusty Attic Curls ABC chipboard letters, which I have glittered to the max....
The small black letters are by Making Memories.....

Pink Paislee Artisan Elements, with more glitter in the wee recesses.....

Zva Creative crystals......

A gorgeous Prima vine, which I added MORE glitter to....

A little RW Laser Cuts frame, also glittered....

Martha Stewart Iron Gate Round the Page punches....

The stunning photograph is DGDs 1 & 3 in the City of Perth this year during our trip into the City to see Santa.....
The sketch was perfect to showcase this treasured photo....
And I was so excited at the amount of product I actually USED.....
Had great fun with this one......

So. 2010 is closing and we are heading into a New Year.....
What a year 2010 has been - two new Design Teams - Scrappy Go Lucky at the beginning of the year and Inspired Crafts in September - will be showcasing DT stuff from Inspired Crafts in the New Year....
My three adorable granddaughters are growing fast - love the counters at the bottom of my blog - helps keep my ageing brain on track......LOL
Just leaves me to say......

To all my family and friends......
And thank you to all the visitors to my blog and the comments you leave, I appreciate everyone of you - my blogging family.....

Raise a glass to 2011.......
Hugs

A Wonderful Day

Oh what fun to be back in my scrap room after the Christmas festivities.....

This is my interpretation of the latest challenge over at Creative Scrappers....

Sketch # 136 by Michelle Fowler....

The papers I have used are from a 12x12 Scrapbook Pad by Grace Taylor 'Vintage Elegance'.....

All the flowers and the little bling bird are by Prima - gorgeous....

Love these Prima Antique Mistletoe in Blizzard Blue - so sparkly....

And the chocolate box bow, which was in the 12x12 Grace Taylor pad....

A wee close up of the Martha Stewart Deep Edge Daisy Fan - an immediate dramatic effect, especially in a contrast colour.....

The photo's are DD and DGDs 1 & 3 at Fremantle on Boxing Day (26th Dec) this year......

Sadly my photo's are not up to my usual standard - because.....

I got a new camera for Christmas.....

I had NO idea.....

DH bought me a Canon EOS 500D.....

So, a steep learning curve now to learn how to use it.....

Think I will sign up for a few classes - this thing looks complicated.....

Meanwhile, I will practice on my beautiful granddaughters.....

Christmas Eve

Happy Christmas Eve everybody....

Here is a collection I have made using the December Full Tart Kit from Lime Tart....

The papers are from the girls' paperie 'Tinsel & Twig' Collection....

Two cards....

A wee 4 x 4 mini book - from one sheet of double sided paper....

A five pointed star - I love these stars....

A trio of boxes....

And, my first attempt at one of these styrofoam snowmen - yea, I know, you all were making them two years ago!! I'm always a wee bit behind....LOL

I have made the rosettes using the Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Alterations Die - sure beats all that scoring by hand....

The two candles have been trimmed with Webster's Pages Green Bloomers....

Here is the wee book in more detail....

Using Nestabilities for the photo mats....

The tags are by Jillibean Soup - Journaling Sprouts....

And, the back of the book says it all.....

I really had fun putting this collection together, wondering what I could do next with the product - which was all in the kit, excepting the red and gold trim on the boxes and the ribbons used in the wee book....

********** ********** ********** **********

These next two photo's are of a flower display I put together for my mantle. Using artificial flowers from my local Spotlight store....

OMG - was this hard work or what. Every time I added another flower or sprig, the whole damn thing moved, and something else fell off....

I am really happy with the finished result, another first for me, but boy was it time consuming and frustrating....LOL

Well, that's about me for the festive season....

I would like to say thanks to all my followers, and the folks that just like to pass through for all your lovely comments....

Have a wonderful Christmas Day tomorrow - hope Santa's good to you....

Hugs
