Xmas Card Trio

A quick trio of cards made with the Winter Woodland cart....

Love this cartridge, pity I got it so close to Christmas, but I know I'm going to have lots of photo's to scrap after the day....

All the cuts are at 3" with the frame from the middle card cut at 4"

Probably my last post before Christmas, so I'll wish you all a peaceful and joyous day and will see you later. Thanks for visiting my blog and all the lovely comments, which I really appreciate....

Going to finish off my shopping before the shops get tooooooo busy....

Love and Xmas Hugs

Ho! Ho! Ho!

At last, time to play with some Christmas papers and my new Winter Woodland cartridge AND my new GYPSY!!!!!!!

Still getting to know the Gypsy, so have kept the cuts quite basic, no welding or anything like that....

The papers are Fancy Pants 'Christmas Magic' collection....

All the cuts are from Winter Woodland cartridge....

Absolutely love the font on this cart....

The photo is DGD #1 from Christmas last year, when we took our annual visit to Santa Street....

Hopefully time to make some cards now that I am on holiday for THREE weeks - yay!!!!!
Hope to be back soon....

Til then....

Lime Tart May Cards

Here are the cards I made with the scraps from my Lime Tart May kits....

I have used sketches from www.icsketches.blogspot.com designed by Dawn Baty aka ScrapnnMo....

These sketches are from May and June this year....

The first one is Sketch # 15 from 5th May....

Second is Sketch # 16 from 12th May...

Third is Sketch # 17 from 19th May....

Fourth is Sketch # 18 from 26th May....

Fifth is Sketch # 19 from 2nd June....

Sixth is Sketch # 20 from 9th June....

Using the beautiful stamp included in the kit, which I didn't use in any of the layouts....

Now that I have used up as much as I could from the May kits, I can pull the June pizza box from the shelf....

And try and invent some time to play....

Thanks for dropping by, and your encouraging comments, which I love to read....

Til next time....

SOUS # 9

Sketch # 9 over at SOUS www.stuckonusketches.blogspot.com is to be the last sketch for this year....

The girls have decided that due to the business of the holiday period they will take a break from sketches - but will be posting tutorials over the holidays....

This is my take on this weeks sketch....

Papers used are Kaiser 'Wish Upon' collection - been in my stash for quite a while now....

Prima 'Say It In Pearls' Swirl, Heidi Swapp 'Glitter Flowers', Making Memories 'Pink Lemonade Alpha Stickers', American Crafts Zing Embossing Powder (on the butterfly), Kaiser bling and ribbon from my stash....

DGD # 1 from Christmas 2008, gorgeous as always....

So, what to do while the girls take a break from SOUS??
I think I will have a play with the sketches by Beggahuna over at www.scrapbook.is/beggahuna - I love the look of her sketches and this will give me a chance to try them out again....
Still to post the cards from the Lime Tart May kits....
Coming soon....

Lime Tart - A La Tarte

This is the Lime Tart 'A La Tarte' kit from May - isn't it gorgeous.....

But, what to do with it?

I have been wanting to scrap these photo's of darling MIL and my dad from our wedding two years ago, and just never got around to it - theses papers presented the perfect opportunity....

The papers are Prima "Flirty Little Secret" and the bling swirl is also Prima - together they are just beautiful....

Everything on the layouts was in the kit , as always.....

Kept Dad's layout a bit simpler, being a man and all that - no flowers, no bling, but used the flocked patterned paper, gorgeous....

My Mum and Andy's Dad are no longer with us, thus only the two layouts of our parents....

So , that finishes off the kits for May, but I still have the cards made from the scraps....

Will post them soon....
And the new sketch is up at SOUS (www.stuckonusketches.blogspot.com) , don't you just love this hobby of ours....
Til next time....
